Honeywell Enviracaire Air Purifier Review
electronic air cleaner , Saturday, November 7th, 2009
Most people who own or test the Honeywell Enviracaire 50250 air purifier are happy with its performance, though there are two general faults. The first fault is that doesn’t perform well in large rooms. The second fault is that it is extremely loud (A reviewer admits that he won’t use the machine in his bedroom because of the noise, despite its impressive cleaning power.) The machine sucks in air from all directions, due to its cylindrical form, and shoots out the clearn air on top.
But unlike more expensive models (like the IQAir Healthpro ~$750) it doesn’t suck up the air through a permanent HEPA filter. Most reviewers agree that, while the model is acceptable for its pricetag, the Alen A350 (~$400) is a better deal. We rank the Honeywell Enviracaire 50250 as one of the 10 best air purifiers.
